2008 Aug - My glove in a bottle
I am in a lovely hot climate here in Tenerife and yet, my skin is in flames. It is on fire again. It is so itchy. My hands are so itchy, my legs are so itchy, I want to tear them apart. Why is this so? Has it not been proven that this type of climate is the best for my skin and lungs? What has happened? Have I been living an illusion all this time. It feels my world has been turned upside down and inside out. The cold wet and windy climate of Brighton now seems better for my skin. The hot balmy weather of Tenerife is now bad for it. Maybe it is down to the fact I have run out of my'Glove in a Bottle'cream. But that means I will need that cream everywhere in the world I go now. If this is so, then I will have to drop my five year plan to provide sun holidays to children with asthma and eczema. If I am not benefitting from the sun why should I force children into such a climate. It is now over. Let that plan die for good. Call everyone, let them know this dog has let go of his juicy bone. 'That's it. It's all over, it is done. Time for this boy now, to have some healthy vivacious fun and leave those children alone.'
My skin is in good shape thanks I believe to the ´Glove in a bottle´ miracle treatment. I want give it to my boss and see if it relieves his symptoms. It is the least I could do for him.
